The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, and Truesdell began his trek out of the Amazon Room.

Ramzi Jelassi Eliminated By Grayson Ramage

Nível 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

As recapped to us by Grayson Ramage, Ramzi Jelassi opened to 48,000 in the hijack. Ramage three-bet to 110,000 on the button, leading to a Jelassi four-bet to 245,000. Ramage five-bet to 485,000 (larger than he intended to make it) and that was met with an all-in shove from Jelassi for about 1.1 million. Ramage called.

Ramage: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Jelassi: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

"King...king," called for Jelassi before the {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop hit the table. The {6-Spades} turn was safe for Jelassi as well, but the {J-Hearts} landed on the river to give Ramage jacks full of sixes to win the pot.

"There it is," joked Jelassi, before wishing Ramage and his tablemates good luck the rest of the way.

Steinberg Ousted

Nível 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Max Steinberg
Max Steinberg

Max Steinberg spent much of yesterday as the chip leader, and ended the night as one of the big stacks. However, he had a rough go of it today, as he came to the featured table with just 330,000. It didn't take long after the break for him to get it in, and Eli Heath was the player who knocked him out.

Action folded around to Steinberg, who open limped in the cutoff. Ashton Griffin also called from the small blind, and Heath checked his option in the big blind. The flop came down {5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}, and Griffin checked to Heath, who fired out 36,000. Steinberg tossed in the call, and Griffin got out of the way. The turn brought the {K-Diamonds}, and Heath bet out again, this time for 67,000. Steinberg moved all in 256,000, and about 20 seconds after he got the official number, Heath made the call.

Steinberg: {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Heath: {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Heath had flopped two pair, and he was well ahead of the pair of kings held by Steinberg. Steinberg was looking for an ace, king, three, or deuce to win the hand, but the river brought none of those, coming down the {Q-Hearts}.

A disappointed Steinberg slowly walked out of the Mothership while Heath jumped up to over a million after that pot.

Zhiwei Zhou Eliminated

Nível 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Philip Long raised to 52,000, and Zhiwei Zhou three-bet to 162,000 from the small blind. Long responded with a re-raise to 282,000, and Zhou quickly pushed all in for 453,000. Long immediately called and turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. Zhou showed {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}, and he would need help from the board. The flop came {6-Spades}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs}, no help to either player. The dealer then turned the {10-Spades}, giving Zhou a flush draw. The river was the {q-Clubs}, and Zhou missed his flush. Long took the pot, and Zhou was eliminated.

Morgenstern Leads on the River

Nível 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Anton Morgenstern raised to 50,000 in middle position, Chris Johnson three-bet to 110,000 in the cutoff, and Morgenstern made the call.

Morgenstern check-called a bet of 160,000 on a flop of {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, both players knuckled when the {2-Hearts} turned, and the {5-Spades} completed the board. Morgenstern led out for 355,000, and Johnson quickly mucked.

Ten Good for Morgenstern

Nível 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Gad Morgenstern opened for a raise, Victor Cianelli three-bet to 77,000 in position, and the action folded back to Morgenstern, who called. Both players checked on a flop of {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, and the turn brought the {6-Hearts}. Morgenstern led out for 80,000, Cianelli called, and the river was the {5-Spades}.

Morgenstern led out again, this time for 155,000, and Cianelli called.

"Ten," Morgenstern announced, showing {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Cianelli tapped the table, then mucked his hand.

Fours Work for Lunkin

Nível 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Vitaly Lunkin raised from the cutoff seat, Brandon Steven reraised from the small blind, and when it got back to Lunkin he called, leaving himself but 160,000 or so behind. The flop came {3-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts}, Steven bet enough to put Lunkin all in, and Lunkin called.

Lunkin had {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} while Steven held {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}, and after the {6-Clubs} turn and {5-Hearts} river, Lunkin survived.
