Jonathan Depa

From under the gun Jonathan Depa and Sami Rustom exchanged a series of preflop raises before Depa found himself all in for 1,260,000 with Rustom making the call.

Depa: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Rustom: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The dealer spread a {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop to keep Rustom in the lead, and when the {Q-Spades} fell on the turn, Depa would be down to just four outs. The river landed the {8-Spades} and Depa was bounced to the rail as Rustom soared to 5,950,000 in chips.

Lunkin Goes All In Dark, Wins

Nível 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Vitaly Lunkin
Vitaly Lunkin

It folded around to Vitaly Lunkin in the hijack seat who raised to 115,000, then Jan Nakladal reraised to 275,000 from one seat over. The button and blinds folded, and the action was back on Lunkin.

Lunkin spent a little time studying Nakladal's bet as well as looking over his own stack. Finally he told the dealer he was calling the reraise, and that he wished to bet all in dark prior to the flop cards arriving.

Several at the table reacted to Lunkin's move. "So weird," said one, while Brandon Steven said he'd never seen a player do it before.

In any event, Lunkin was all in for his last 430,000 when the flop came out {8-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, and Nakladal was left with the decision whether or not to call an opponent's shove that had come without knowledge of the first three community cards.

Finally Nakladal called, tabling {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}, and Lunkin showed his {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. All leaned forward to see the dealer deliver the {2-Diamonds} turn and {2-Hearts} river, and Lunkin survived with a double-up.

Mandic Doubles Through Jaffe

Nível 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Jonathan Jaffe raised it up to 65,000 in middle position, and Michiel Brummelhuis called from the cutoff. Goran Mandic reraised to 215,000 from the small blind, and it folded back to Jaffe. In a matter of seconds, Jaffe reraised to 375,000, Brummelhuis folded, Mandic moved all in 860,000, and Jaffe called.

Jaffe: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Mandic: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

Jaffe was slightly ahead going to the flop, which came down {10-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}. Jaffe kept the lead, and the turn brought the {8-Spades}. That card drew a groan from the Jaffe supports, as it gave Mandic the second nut flush draw. He could not catch an ace, king, or spade to win the hand, and the river completed that runner runner flush, {10-Spades}.

Mandic notched the double up to 1.855 million, while Jaffe drops to 3.77 million. Despite taking that big hit to his stack, Jaffe still has more then 1.5 million more than anyone at his table.
