Dutch Boyd Eliminated

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Dutch Boyd
Dutch Boyd

After player folded to Dutch Boyd in the cutoff seat, he moved his last 40,000 in chips into the middle for an all-in bet. Paul Taylor made the call from the next seat on the button, and everyone else folded. This left Boyd's tournament life on the line with the {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} versus the {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} for Taylor.

Following a runout of {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, Boyd was eliminated. Taylor collected the pot and moved to just under 700,000 in chips.

Gazes Fades a Queen to Double

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Zachary Weiss opened from the button with a raise to 20,000. In the small blind Kristy Gazes moved all in for 131,000 total. Adam Kende, who was in the big blind, went into the tank for nearly two minutes before finally calling. Weiss folded his hand so Gazes and Kende went to a showdown.

Gazes: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Kende: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} which was safe for Gazes who was able to double up to close to 300,000 chips.

Field Doubles Through Hicks

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We arrived at the table with the board showing {q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Joshua Field checked his option from under the gun plus one, before Daniel Hicks threw out 25,000. With the action back on Field, he moved all in for 104,000. Hicks deliberated over his call for over a minute, before finally making the call.

Hicks: {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Field: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Field was in great shape to double, needing to dodge a queen or jack. The {8-Clubs} completed the board, sending Field up to 295,000, and dropping Hicks down to 423,000.

Guagenti Four-Bet Jams On Jones and Rivet

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

From under the gun, Nick Guagenti opened with a raise to 17,000. Ryan Jones called from middle position, then Guillaume Rivet reraised to 48,000 from the hijack seat. Play folded back over to Guagenti, and he announced that he was all in, a bet worth right around 300,000. After Jones folded, Rivet also folded, and Guagenti won the pot.

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Jake Cody
Jake Cody

Vladimir Geshkenbein had been playfully targeting Jake Cody for a knockout since Cody was moved to his table during the last level. Just moments ago, Geshkenbein finally got his man.

Cody was all-in preflop for 29,000 with {A-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Geshkenbein had the Brit dominated with {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. After the board ran out {5-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, the two players shook hands and Cody began his walk to the payout desk.

Ben Cherif Chomps on Vegimite Sandwich

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Australian Nino Marotta opened the cutoff to 19,000 and Rachid Ben Cherif called from the big blind to see a {Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop fall.

Ben Cherif checked and Marotta moved all in for his last 106,000. Ben Cherif looked a little puzzled by Marotta's move, but then made the call to put him at risk.

Marotta: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Ben Cherif: {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The turn and river landed the {6-Clubs} and {5-Hearts} to see Ben Cherif make a straight to send the Aussie to the rail as he moved to roughly 840,000 in chips.

Le Busts in Coin Flip

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Tuan Le
Tuan Le

Ryan Snickles raised it up to 16,000 from early position, and Tuan Le moved all in for his final 105,000 from middle position. It got back to Snickles, who made the call to put Le at risk.

Le: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Snickles: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Le managed to fade the flop, as it came down {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. However, he couldn't fade the {a-Spades} on the turn. Le was now hoping for one of the two ten's left in the deck, but the river gave Snickles an unneeded two pair, {j-Diamonds}.

A disappointed Le headed for the exits, while Snickles is up to 425,000 after taking that hand down.

Steinberg Pushes Allis All Out

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Max Steinberg
Max Steinberg

We came to the table on the river, with Max Steinberg and Mike Allis in the hand and the board reading {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Allis pushed all in, and Steinberg called immediately. He tabled {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a flush, and Allis angrily slammed his cards to the table face up, showing {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for ace high.

Steinberg now has 1.6 million in chips, and Allis made his way to the payout window.

Rivet's River Decision

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

After leading out for 65,000 into a pot of around 90,000 on the river of a {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades} board, Guillaume Rivet was faced with a raise to 185,000 from Dutchman and birthday boy Jorn Walthaus. The French Canadian opted to call the raise, then mucked when Walthaus showed {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a turned flush.
