Mike Watson began the day second in chips, but after losing a big all-in hand with 
to Tom Marchese's 
his stack was more than cut in half.
It wasn't too much longer after that when Watson found himself with kings — 
, to be precise — and putting the last of his stack in following a 
flop against Joseph Cheong. Unfortunately for Watson, Cheong had flopped a set of nines with 
, and after the

river, Watson was out in 29th.
By contrast, Cheong has had a much better time of it on Day 3 so far. He started the day with one of the shorter stacks but is now suddenly up near the leaders.
