Hand #5: Daniel Alaei raised to 65,000 in the cutoff, Jared Bleznick called on his direct left, and the flop fell {5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{k-Spades}. Alaei checked, Bleznick bet 65,000, and Alaei called. The turn was the {10-Hearts}, Alaei checked again, and Bleznick checked behind. The {10-Spades} completed the board, Alaei fired out 265,000, and Bleznick folded.

Hand #6: Rory Rees Brennan raised to 65,000 in middle position, winning the pot uncontested.

Hand #7: Alaei raised to 70,000 in early position, Alex Kravchenko called out of the small blind, and the fop came {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Kravchenko checked, Alaei continued for 100,000, and Kravchenko folded.

Hand #8: Sean Dempsey raised the pot out of the small blind, Gjergj Sinishtaj re-raised to 230,000 out of the small blind, and Dempsey moved all in for 315,000. Sinishtaj called.

Dempsey doubled as the board ran out {q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{a-Clubs}, giving him a full house, and he now has 630,000 chips. Sinishtaj slipped to 1.56 million.

Marchese Doubles Through Alaei

Hand #1: Rory Rees Brennan earned a walk in his big blind.

Hand #2: Alex Kravchenko limped from middle position and Daniel Alaei checked his option from the big blind. The flop came {J-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and both checked. The turn was the {8-Spades}. Alaei bet 55,000 and Kravchenko called.

The river brought the {4-Clubs} and a bet of 115,000 from Alaei. Kravchenko thought for about a half-minute before letting his hand go.

Hand #3: James Wiese opened with a raise to 70,000 from early position and got a single caller in Jared Bleznick playing from the big blind. Both checked the {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop. The turn brought the {5-Clubs} and Bleznick check-called a bet of 50,000 from Wiese. Both then checked the {3-Spades} river.

Wiese turned over {Q-}{J-}{10-}{5-} for trip fives, and Bleznick mucked.

Hand #4: Brennan opened for 65,000, and it folded to Daniel Alaei who reraised to 180,000 from the button. It folded to Tom Marchese in the big blind who reraised all in for his entire stack of 630,000. Brennan stepped aside, then Alaei took some time to consider the situation before making the call.

Marchese: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

Big Double for Kravchenko

In one of the first hands of the new level, Daniel Alaei raised to 65,000 from middle position and James Wiese called from the button. The action on Alex Kravchenko in the small blind, he didn't wait too long before announcing he was reraising pot, a bet that left him about 150,000 behind.

Sean Dempsey quickly let his hand go from the big blind, then Alaei reraised, Wiese folded, and Kravchenko called all in. The two players showed their hands.

Alaei: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Kravchenko: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

The dealer burned a card and spread the {3-Clubs}{8-Spades}{Q-Clubs} flop, followed by the {J-Clubs} turn that gave Kravchenko a club flush. Alaei could still have improved on the river to beat the Russian, but fifth street brought the {10-Diamonds} and Kravchenko kept his seat.

Rory Rees Brennan limped from the button, Daniel Alaei called from the small blind, and after checking his cards Jared Bleznick checked from the big blind.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. First to act, Alaei tossed out chips for a bet of 60,000, then after pausing a few beats Bleznick raised to 150,000. Brennan sat in contemplation for a while, then announced he was reraising with his entire stack — a little over 650,000.

Alaei quickly tossed his cards away. Bleznick took a little longer, but folded as well.

Kovalchuk checked again, Sinishtaj tossed out 127,000, and Kovalchuk raised the pot (480,000). Sinishtaj moved all in for 536,000, and Kovalchuk called.
