Danny Le Loses Some

Nível 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

The board read {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and an early position player moved all in. We came just as Danny Le was contemplating the call. He did make the call with one card to come.

Le: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Le was drawing to chopping outs which didn't materialize on the {4-Spades} river.

Harwood Shining Bright Like a Diamond

Nível 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

WSOP Circuit grinder Loni Harwood has had herself quite a summer so far. She has already locked up her fifth cash of the summer, and she has two final tables, a 6th in Event #31 $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Eight-or-Better, and a 4th in Event #53 $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em just last week for over $200,000. Well she's well on her way to making another deep run, as we just saw her win a pot to get up to almost 150,000.

Action started with Loni Harwood raising to 6,000 from the cutoff, and Roberto Aranha was the lone caller from the button. The flop came down {j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, and Harwood c-bet to 6,000. Aranha raised it up to 15,000, and Harwood made the call. Both players checked the {j-Diamonds} on the turn, and the river brought the {3-Diamonds}. Harwood assembled a big bet of 40,000, and slid it in. Aranha spent about 90 seconds in the tank before kicking his hand in, and Harwood took down the pot without a showdown.

Sanchez Vs. Anderson

Nível 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Calvin Anderson
Calvin Anderson

We didn't see the preflop action and came to the table with the {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flop already dealt. Calvin Anderson led for 8,500 and Mario Sanchez made the call.

Anderson checked the {q-Diamonds} turn and Sanchez bet 18,000. Anderson answered with a raise to 55,000 and Sanchez called.

Anderson led for 84,000 on the {a-Spades} river and Sanchez called and tabled {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a set. Anderson sent his cards to the muck and a lot of his chips to Sanchez.

Cresiski Doubles Through Silver

Nível 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

We walked into the middle of a huge pot brewing between Nate Silver and Richard Cresiski on a flop of{7-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. We don't know the exact betting action, but we know that Silver called the all in of Richard Cresiski.

Silver:{9-Spades}{8-Spades}
Cresiski: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Cresiski had flopped top two pair, but he would still have to sweat the turn and river, as any spade or ten would do him in. He stayed safe though, as the board ran down {7-Clubs} and {2-Diamonds}. After taking that pot, Cresiski is up to 155,000, while Nate Silver dropped down to 70,000.
