Notash Busts One

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Bijon Notash and his opponent had it all in preflop with near equal stacks.

Notash: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The board looked promising for the queens to start when it came {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and then {7-Spades} but the {k-Diamonds} river gave Notash the win. After counting all the chips Notash barely had his opponent covered, and he ended up eliminating him.

Quite the Comeback for Atkinson

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We were walking by a table when a player stopped up and said "I got a story for you." He then pointed out Robert Atkinson, who was sitting on an above average stack of 250,000. That may not sound too impressive, but it is considering that he was down to just 800 chips at the 800-1600 level! That's right, Atkinson has fought from a single small blind over thirty big blinds, and he's not done yet. If he can complete the comeback, we might have a new chip and a chair story to tell for years to come!

Cascado Wins Big

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Daniel Cascado
Daniel Cascado

The {3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts} board was dealt and a 300,000+ pot was brewing in the middle. The player in the small blind checked over to Daniel Cascado who requested a count of the person's stack. Then after a solid 90 seconds, Casacado checked behind but seemed hesitant to show his hand. His opponent, in position, showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a missed straight draw. When Cascado realized his opponent didn't have a pair he tabled his {7-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a pair of threes and a huge pot.

Hughes Building

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

The last three hands we witnessed in which Ryan Hughes participated, he won with a 3-bet. He is staying aggressive and putting his opponents to the tough decisions. He has the chips and he is using them well.

Karamalikis Busts; Kalayli Doubles

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Malek Kalayli and Jonthan Karamalikis were all in preflop and close to even in chips.

Kalayli: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Karamalikis: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

And they are off to the races. The race didn't last long when the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} board ran out. Karamalikis had Kalayli barely covered and was left with 20,500.

Karamalikis was all in the very next hand and doubled up when his {j-Hearts}{9-Spades} made a straight against his opponent's eights. Karamalikis ended up busting a few hands later

Big Slick Works for Bronshtein

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

There was about 10,000 in the middle when we got to the table to see Yuval Bronshtein and Richard Cresiski heads up on the turn, with the board reading {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Bronshtein fired out 7,500, and Cresiski made the call. The {j-Clubs} hit the river, and Bronshtein thought for a few moments before assembling a bet of 11,500, and slid it into the middle. Cresiski only took a few seconds to call, and Bronshtein tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for kings and sevens.

Cresiski kicked his hand in, and Bronshtein upped his stack to 125,000 on that hand.
