Kelly Cruising

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Dan Kelly is the chip leader, for now, after adding about 250,000 to his stack when he eliminated Raja Kattamuri.

All They Are is Dust in the Wind(Miller)

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Yet another three-way all-in pot has just resulted in an elimination, with David Windmiller's {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} sending an unknown opponent who held {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} to the rail.

Sean Rafael was also involved in the hand, bringing his big stack and {Kc]{K-Hearts} to the battle, but a final board of {8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} meant he was forced to double Windmiller up.

The dealers seem to be delivering quality hands to players simultaneously, leading to multiple cooler situations in which top-ten hands force reasonably deep stacks into the middle. With a goal of reaching the final table by ten levels today, this is definitely an encouraging development.

Oh My Gawd, That Must be Kane!

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We missed the betting action, but the aftermath of this recent hand minted a new millionaire, at least in terms of tournament chips.

Kane Kalas was the man stacking a huge pile of chips, and with {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} proudly displayed on the felt in front of him, it was clear he had prevailed in yet another multiway cooler.

Dan Gannon's now empty seat had a fallen {Q-}{Q-} signaling his demise, while Vinh Pham's {10-}{10-} showed that he was third best in this confrontation.

With the double knockout, Kalas is among the first players to push above the million chip plateau, which must be especially exciting during the first ever WSOP "Millionaire Maker" event.

A Few Chip Counts From Around The Room

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Carroll's Kings Cruise for the Double

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

A preflop raising war between Mike Carroll and an opponent in the small blind began when the circuit grinder raised, and responded to a three-bet by shipping for 137,000.

His opponent called with {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Carroll's {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} was in the traditional position of dodging bullets.

Flop: {2-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Turn: {7-Spades}
River: {Q-Spades}

No aces could be found, and with a spade in has hand to boot, Carroll eliminated the player and moved to just under 300,000 as Day 3 action continues.

Randolph Langosa Goes Clubbing

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

With the flop reading {4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}, Randolph Langosa called an all-in bet by an opponent seated to his right. When the hands were tabled, Langosa's {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} was drawing against the {4-Spades}{5-Spades}.

Turn: {7-Clubs}
River: {A-Hearts}

The turn delivered Langosa's flush, and his opponent could not fill up on the river, sending him to the rail early on this Day 3.
