Shana Matthews opened to 16,000 from the cut-off, before Kristen Bicknell raised it to 37,000 from the button. Matthews quickly folded her hand, relinquishing the pot to Bicknell.

The hand started with Connie Bruce opening to 20,000, as Amanda Baker made the call. The flop came down 
. Bruce threw out a continuation bet of 40,000, which was too much for Baker, as she folded her hand.

The table folded around to Leanne Haas in the small blind, who opened to 28,000, which saw Julie Monsacre fold her hand, giving up her big blind.
