We caught up with the action on fourth street, where we saw Amnon Filippi bet and Danzer call. Filippi bet again on fifth street, and this time, Danzer raised. Filippi called, and the rest of Danzer's chips got in the middle on sixth. Filippi showed 
for a pair of nines, and he was shocked to see Danzer reveal 
in the hole for trip deuces. Filippi could only catch a nine on the river to win, but he peaked at his card and sent it back to the deal, giving the hand to Danzer.
The German pro is now sitting on 72,000, while Filippi is crippled to 18,000.

Eric Wasserson was down to his last few chips on the bubble, and he survived one all in against Daniel Negreanu when he chopped in stud-8, but his luck ultimately ran out, as Kristopher Tong ended up doing him in on the bubble. Kevin MacPhee started the action with a raise, and Tong called. Wasserson committed the rest of his short stack, and MacPhee and Tong were off to the flop. Both players checked the

Justin "Boosted J" Smith was short stacked when we came back from dinner, and it didn't take him long to get his chips in the middle. He was all in heads up on third street against Kristopher Tong, so the dealer was quick with dealing the cards. By seventh street, Smith had sevens and sixes, while Tong had fives and twos with an ace and a jack. Tong found a jack on seventh for a better two pair, and it was good enough to send Smith to the rail just before the money.
