Voyer's opponent held , and had turned a set after limping preflop. Voyer held , and had raised hoped to win without resistance preflop and on the flop, but ended up making a straight on the river.

Afterward, Voyer joking said, "I am ashamed," but the smile on his face as he stacked his chips and recalled the hand told a different story.
