The first two levels of play are in the books, and as a reward the players have been granted a 15-minute recess. Who'll play on the jungle gym and who will take on Dan Shak in tetherball? Probably no one, but we bet there will be a big line at the restroom.
See you in 15!
ESPN’s coverage of the 2013 World Series of Poker, from the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, will air every Tuesday from July 23 through November 5, with the exception of September 3 & 10. The WSOP will air on Tuesday nights in two-hour blocks from 9:00 ET to 11:00 PM ET. Unfortunately Event #29: $5,000 H.O.R.S.E. will not be on the television schedule.
Instead, to kick off the programming schedule this year, the inaugural World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific Main Event final table will air on Tuesday, July 23, at 9 p.m. ET. WSOP Main Event coverage begins on August 6 at 9 p.m. ET.
Norman Chad and Lon McEachern will call the action.

Last year, David "Bakes" Baker won this very event for 451,779, though that is when it cost $10,000 to enter. Baker is in today's field looking for a title defense and his third gold bracelet.
In a recent hand, a player with a brought it in and another player completed with a . A third player in middle position called, Baker did the same and the bring-in folded. Baker took the lead on fourth and fired out a bet, and the man who originally completed got out of the way. The only other player in the pot had caught a but made the call nonetheless.
Baker proceeded to bet fifth and then paired up on sixth after his opponent called. Baker proceeded to raise after his opponent bet, a call was made and then his opponent check-called a bet on seventh. Baker tabled for an 8-6-4-3-A low, which was good as his opponent mucked his cards.
Despite winning that hand, Baker is still down a bit from the starting stack.

Mike Gorodinsky raised to 400 preflop found a lone caller in the small blind to see a flop spread.
The small blind led out for 200 and Gorodinsky called before he bet 400 when he landed on the turn. Gorodinsky's opponent made the call, but would then check-fold for 400 when the river fell the .
With that pot Gorodinsky climbs to over 22,000 in chips.

Last year Adam Friedman won his first World Series of Gold bracelet by taking down Event #15: $5,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split 8-or-Better $269,037. Ironically, he had been featured in PokerNews' popular Where Are They Now? series just six weeks earlier. Not only did Adam answer that question by winning a bracelet, he shook the stigma of being the man who shed a tear in a 2005 WSOP Main Event hand that occurred at an outer table and was captured by ESPN's cameras.
Today, Friedman is in pursuit of his second gold bracelet, but even more exciting for him is that he's sharing the experience with his father, Marc Friedman. Last night Marc was able to win a satellite into today's tournament, and while the two aren't seated anywhere near one another, they're not far from each other's thoughts.
My dad won the horse saty tonight and will be joining me in the $5k Horse tomorrow! This is going to be awesome.Follow @AdamFriedman119
Adam was quick to point his dad out to our live reporting team, and then Marc was quick to ask how his son was doing when we moseyed by his table.
We'll certainly be keeping an eye on the Friedman family as the day progress.
Since the start of the tournament Table 379 has been clouded in controversy due to two players speaking in Russian; with one of those being Andrey Zaichenko.
Although both Zaichenko and his friend were cooperating with the WSOP rules of no speaking in a foreign tongue while a hand is being played, they both were having conversations after every hand in Russian.
A few of the players eventually called the Tournament Director over stating that they didn't think it was fair because they could be chatting about information of other players or if they had a flush draw in a particular hand. The unknown Russian stated that if they were talking about the table, what is the difference between standing up in-between hands to chat or chatting across the table.
Tournament Director Troy Iverson informed the players that there was nothing wrong with what they were doing because it is virtually the same as an English-speaking player whispering to another tablemate or texting them once the hand is over. And since the WSOP can't prevent players from texting or talking, speaking in Russian when not in hands is allowed.
