"He's been on TV about a hundred times," a player at Table 45 said, pointing to the man in seat five.
Indeed, the man in question was 2001 main event winner Carlos Mortensen, who chuckled and nodded as someone confirmed his identity. Mortensen, who has two bracelets, is attempting to add to a career total of more than $10 million in career tournament cashes.

Kathy Liebert, on the button, bet 600 after an opponent checked to her on a board. Her opponent made the call, then fired out 700 on the river. Liebert immediately tossed out a line of chips that added up to a raise to 2,175.
"I was just trying to buy it," her opponent said as he tanked. Finally, after thinking for about a minute, he dumped his hand.
