Negreanu Gives Up To Moorman

Nível 4 : 100/200, 0 ante
Chris Moorman
Chris Moorman

Daniel Negreanu opened the pot to 400 from middle position. He was called by the player in the hijack seat. Chris Moorman decided to reraise to 1,250 from the button and he was only called by Negreanu.

On the {A-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop, Negreanu checked to Moorman who bet out 1,500. Negreanu called.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and this time Negreanu check called a 2,500 chip bet from Moorman.

The {4-Spades} came on the river and Negreanu checked for a third time. Moorman moved all in and Negreanu snap folded.

Someone at the table informed Moorman that he could show, and he obliged by showing the {10-Clubs}.

"That had me beat," Negreanu said. "I was drawing to a straight flush.

Moorman moved over 20,000 chips after that hand.

Sands Doubles Short Stack

Nível 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

David "Doc" Sands felt he had a difficult decision preflop as he held {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and had to decide if he wanted to call his short stacked opponents all in. After much deliberation Sands called and his opponent showed {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Sands doubled up his opponent. Sands will survive with 15,500.

Steinberg Bluffs It Off

Nível 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Max Steinberg and his {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} had put out a big raise of 6,500 into two players on a board of {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. He was hoping that his opponents would fold so he could get away with his bluff. His first opponent showed resistance however and made the call.

Steinberg flipped his hand over like it was the winner but his opponent did not fall for the trick. His opponent had {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and his pair of jacks beat Steinberg. Steinberg fell down to 3,325.

Peters Trying for Another Deep Run

Nível 3 : 75/150, 0 ante
David Peters
David Peters

David Peters already has four deep runs this series. He is hoping to make it five with this event. He recently took a nice little pot when he bet 1,850 into an already juicy pot on the river of a board of {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

His opponent tanked for a long time. He finally folded awarding the pot to Peter which gave him a a stack of 10,700.

Double For Kasella

Nível 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

We didn't see the action but we do know that Frank Kasella was all in for 2,225 with {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. The board read {9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} giving Kasella the second nut flush and it was good enough that his opponents hand was mucked. Kasella is still under starting stack, but with that double he has a little more room to maneuver.
