Bounahra Goes All In

Nível 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

We were walking around and saw Badih Bounahra with a pained look on his face. He was facing a large 2,475 chip bet from his opponent on an already developed board of {2-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

He had calling chips in his hand ready to go, but then pulled them back. He kept looking like he was going to call but then stopping himself. He did this about three times before he slammed the chips on the table. But not only did he slam the calling chips down, he announced "All In."

His opponent was not to pleased with that and grumbled as he threw his cards into the muck. With that hand Bounahra is off to a good start with 15,000.

Salinas Busts Greenstein

Nível 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

We caught a hand with Barry Greenstein on the button as he moved all in preflop for 375. Two players called, and Eric Salinas raised to 1,200. Only one of the other players called the raise.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, and both Salinas and the other player checked as Greenstein waited, quietly counting out the pot. The turn came {3-Diamonds}, and both players checked again. The river was the {9-Clubs}, and Salinas led out for 1,800, prompting his opponent to fold.

Salinas showed {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a rivered set, while Greenstein showed {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for a busted pair. Greenstein will be sitting the rest of this one out as Salinas grows his chip stack to around 6,400.

We caught a hand with a notable tournament player Chris Karambinis from Chicago.

PokerNews caught the action on the flop {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}, where Karambinis was in middle position and bet 150. His two opponents called.

The turn came the {a-Hearts}. The first two players checked, and Karambinis led out again for 350. The first player called and the second player folded. The river came the {9-Spades}, and both players checked. Karambinis showed the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} to take down the pot with a pair of kings.
