Nichanian First Casualty of the Day

Nível 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Garen Nichanian open-shipped all in for his last 44,000 from under the gun. David "Doc" Sands called and the rest of the table folded.

Nichanian: {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Sands: {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Sands held a death grip on the hand after the dealer produced a flop that read {3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn sealed the deal and the {7-Spades} finished off the board. Sands now has about 225,000 in chips while Nichanian has become the first elimination of the day.

Benger Busts Chang

Nível 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Ben Hamnett opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and the button got out of the way. Kai Chang flat called out of the small blind and Griffin Benger three-bet to 35,000 out of the big. Hamnett folded and Chang stuck around.

The flop brought {A-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Chang checked. Benger continued for 27,000 and Chang moved all in for about 98,000. Benger called and the hands were revealed.

Benger: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Chang: {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Chang was drawing thin and looking to make his gutshot but it ultimately did not happen as the {3-Spades} turned and the {10-Hearts} rivered. Benger is now sitting on 390,000 while Chang has hit the rail.
