We had to report on this hand just because of how crazy it was. Joe Pochedly and an opponent were all in on a flop of 
. Pochedly showed his hand first. He showed 
. His opponent could not believe that his 
was not in the lead. Pochedly's opponent needed to catch another king to stay alive.
The turn was the 
and the river was not the last king but in fact the 
giving Pochedly's opponent a full house kings over queens. Usually that would win any hand but not Pochedly's aces over kings. Pochedly knocked out his opponent and now sits with a healthy stack of 12,000.

On a 
flop we just saw Stephen Chidwick check from to the button. That player bet out 350 and Chiwick made it 725 with just 1,275 behind. The player took a careful look at Chidwick's stack, and then decided to move in. Chidwick folded instantly and has to continue with a little more than 25 big blinds. If there's one player in the field today who knows how to handle a 25 big blind stack it's Chidwick, so not all is lost yet.

Liv Boeree opened for 125 from the cutoff and got two callers; the button and Brian Meinders in the big blind. 
on the flop and after a check from Meinders, Boeree bet out 250. Both her opponents made the call and the 
appeared on the turn. This time Meinders bet out 575 and just the button made the call, Boeree folded. 
on the river and now Meinders made it 1,625. The player on the button thought for a while, counted his chips, and then called. He couldn't beat Meinders 
though and had to muck. The 2012 bracelet winner is off to a great start.
