Ausmus Ships it In

We caught up with the action on a {10-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, where a three-way pot was brewing between Jeremy Ausmus, Marty Zabib and Hans Joaquim Hein.

Zabib had already fired 55,000 into the middle from under the gun and Hein called out of turn on the button. The dealer then declared that the bet would stay and that action was on Jeremy Ausmus - who still had all of his options available to him. Ausmus, who was directly behind Zabib, opted to call.

The turn brought the {A-Clubs} and Zabib checked. Ausmus then announced he was all in for a bit under 300,000 and Hein snap-folded. Zabib tanked for about a minute, but eventually laid his hand down and Ausmus scooped the pot.

Ausmus is up to 440,000.

Knecht Ends Juanda's Main Event

John Juanda - Eliminated
John Juanda - Eliminated

Kyle Knecht opened to 28,000 from under the gun and it folded all the way around to John Juanda's big blind. Juanda announced that he was all in and Knecht announced a call immediately as the words escaped Juanda's mouth.

Juanda: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Knecht: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

Juanda was all in for his last 200,000 and in need of help. The flop was {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and the turn the {3-Clubs}. Juanda stood up before the river was dealt and made his exit from the table once he saw the {5-Diamonds} brick on the river. By eliminating Juanda, Knecht's stack is now sitting at roughly 920,000.

Ten, One Time

George Gauthier open-shoved his last 231,000 on the button, Yuval Bronshtein re-shoved from the small blind, and Antonio Garcia went into the tank from the big.

"Is it alright if I stand?" Garcia asked the dealer.

"Yes," the dealer told him. "Just don't leave the table."

Garcia eventually folded {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} face up, and Bronshtein and Gauthier tabled their hands.

Bronshtein{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Gauthier{k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Before the dealer fanned the flop, Gauthier turned to the cameras, and waived to his kids. The flop was {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}, giving Bronshtein a pair of aces, and another ace turned - the {a-Hearts} - turned.

"How 'bout a ten, one time!" Gauthier told the dealer, not knowing he was drawing dead.

The {9-Spades} completed the board, and he was eliminated.

One for Gonzalez

Fabrizio Gonzalez raised to 24,000 under the gun, and received calls from Andrey Zaichenko and Tom Tran in the cutoff and big blind respectively. It went check-check to Zaichenko on the {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, which only Gonzalez called. The latter then check-called a bet of 66,000 on the {3-Spades} turn, and then turned right around and led out for 42,000 on the {8-Diamonds} river. Zaichenko gave it a little thought but ultimately opted to lay down his hand.

Rabtsov Doubles Through Grandmougin

Action started with Kirill Rabtsov raising to 32,000 in early position. Gwennael Grandmougin was the only caller in middle position, and the two went heads up to a flop of {2-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Rabtsov led out for 43,000, and Grandmougin moved all in, having Rabtsov covered. Rabtsov quickly called, and the cards were tabled.

Grandmougin: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Rabtsov: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Rabtsov was miles ahead, and would need to dodge just a jack to double up. The turn came the {10-Clubs}, and the river brought paint, but it was the {k-Diamonds}. After that hand, Rabtsov is up to over 470,000, while Grandmougin drops below 525,000.
