The player on the button opened for 675 and found one caller in Viktor Blom from the big blind.
The flop came and Blom checked to his opponent, who tossed a clump of chips into the middle for an 850 bet.
Blom asked how much the bet was and then hurled two yellows and three black chips into the middle for a raise to 2,300. His opponent dejectedly slid his hand into the muck.
Blom hasn't strayed too far from the starting stack today - he is currently sitting on 26,000.

Over at Luke Schwartz's table a player open shoved all in for around 27,800. Action folded over to Schwartz in late position who took his time pondering if it was worth it, with the blinds only at 150-300. Schwartz ended up throwing the hand away, and the rest of the table retreated as well. The shover, then showed for a pair of queens. Schwartz told the table he had
, but it wasn't worth it.
Apparently this type of shoving is fairly common at the Main Event, with Fokke Beukers experiencing a similar situation.
