Gavin Griffin foi o mais jovem jogador a ganhar uma braceelte em 2004 (este recolde foi quebrado "espantosamente" por três vezes), e tem tido um 2007 excelente, tendo ganho a Grande FInal do EPT Monte Carlo.
Allen Cunningham é um dos melhores profissionais do mundo, foi jogador do Ano em 2005 e terminou na 4ª posição no Main Event de 2006.
Humberto Brenes é um dos profissionais mais populares, e esta é a segunda mesa final das WSOP 2007. Ganhou duas breaceletes em 1993 - e nenhuma desde então.s one of the most popular pros, and this is his second final table of the '07 WSOP. He won two bracelets way back in 1993 -- and none since. He'd love to pick up a third.
Jeff Lisandro is a top pro who finished 17th in last year's Main Event, and won an exciting WSOP Circuit Championship back in 2005, heads-up against Phil Ivey for several hours.
Jason Lester is probably best known for finishing fourth in the 2003 Main Event, behind Chris Moneymaker. But he also happens to be the defending champion in this event. It's been a long time since we've had someone win the same WSOP event two years in a row.
