Welcome to Day 1b of the World Series of Poker International Circuit €1,350 (15,000 MAD) Main Event in Marrakech! Yesterday, Day 1a set a new attendance record of 172 players, breaking the 2015 number by one player. Brazil's Rodrigo Strong topped a field of 49 survivors and claimed the overall Day 1a chip lead by bagging 250,000 chips.

Today, at least 250 players are expected to take a shot at WSOPC glory and the coveted gold WSOP Circuit Ring. Besides new faces, players that failed to survive Day 1a are expected to fire another bullet, including 2016 WSOP Global Casino Championship Winner Said El Yousfi, Arthur Conan, Isabel Baltazar, Abdelhadi Kondah and the always unpredictable Rakesh Lalwani.

Just like yesterday, players will start with 30,000 in chips and levels will be 45 minutes throughout the day. Late registration and reentries will be allowed up until the end of level 9. A total of twelve full levels will be played.

The PokerNews Live Reporting Team will be on the floor to deliver start-to-finish coverage of this exciting WSOP International Circuit Main Event. Cards will be back in the air at 1 p.m. local time.
