Lin Flops a Boat to Double

Brett Slezak

Nível 14 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Ren Lin potted to 140,000 from the hijack and Andrew Pantling called on the button.

"Aye, aye, aye...calling station," remarked Lin.

On the A♦9♠9♥ flop, Lin check-called a bet of 55,000 from Pantling.

The turn brought the Q♠. Lin checked again and Pantling bet 270,000 effective and Lin called all in.

Ren Lin: A♣J♥10♦9♣ All in
Andrew Pantling: K♣J♣9♦6♣

Pantling's trip nines were drawing dead to Lin's nines-full-of-aces. The 8♥ river was irrelevant as Lin found the full double.
