Alex Foxen opened the action with a raise from early position to 120,000. On his direct left, Sam Greenwood three-bet to 330,000. It folded back to Foxen who put in a four-bet to 675,000. Greenwood elected to five-bet all in for his stack of 2,550,000 and Foxen, who had Greenwood slightly covered, snap-called.

Greenwood ran into the pocket aces of Foxen, but the 2♣J♥Q♥ flop did give Greenwood outs in the form of a Broadway straight draw. However, once the board ran out Q♣ on the turn, and 5♣ on the river, the pocket aces of Foxen were still best, giving Foxen the massive pot, and sending Greenwood to the rail.
