Barak Wisbrod
Barak Wisbrod

Tom Fuchs opened the action with a raise in the hijack and Barak Wisbrod three-bet to 500,000 on the button, leaving himself with 55,000 behind. Fuchs then four-bet all in and Wisbrod called off his remaining stack to put himself at risk.

Barak Wisbrod: AQ All in
Tom Fuchs: JJ

It was a fair fight but Wisbrod couldn't find an ace or a queen on the 35968 board and he was eliminated right before the dinner break.

Nível 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action folded to Orpen Kisacikoglu on the button, and he raised all in for his stack of 1,240,000. The small blind folded, and Ben Tollerene made the call for his stack of 445,000 to put himself at risk.

Ben Tollerene: A5 All in
Orpen Kisacikoglu: QJ

Tollerene was ahead with his ace-high, and the board ran out K78K3 and Tollerene was still best, giving him the double up.

Sam Greenwood Eliminated in 19th Place ($105,370)

Nível 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Sam Greenwood raised to 120,000 in the cutoff and was three-bet by Fedor Holz on the button to 360,000. Greenwood then four-bet shoved for close to 2,000,000, putting himself at risk. Holz quickly made the call.

Sam Greenwood: 1010 All in
Fedor Holz: JJ

The board of 425JK offered no help to Greenwood and his tournament run came to an end.

Timothy Adams Eliminated in 20th Place ($105,370)

Nível 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Action folded to the small blind Timothy Adams who raised all in for his stack of 535,000, which was quickly called by the big blind Santhosh Suvarna to put Adams at risk.

Timothy Adams: 86 All in
Santhosh Suvarna: AJ

Adams had two live cards, but would need to improve past the ace-high of Suvarna to stay in the tournament. The board ran out 3K545 and the ace-high of Suvarna took the pot and eliminated Adams.

Hopkins Doubles Through Martirosian

Nível 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
James Hopkins
James Hopkins

James Hopkins got it all in preflop in the cutoff for about 800,000 against Artur Martirosian in the big blind who had the covering stack.

James Hopkins: A7 All in
Artur Martirosian: 77

The flop came KQK with Martirosian still out in the lead. However, running tens came on the turn and river to counterfeit Martirosian and send the pot Hopkins' way.

Greenwood Fades the World

Nível 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Alex Foxen opened the action with a raise to 120,000 in the cutoff before Sam Greenwood, on the button, three-bet all in for his stack of 950,000. It folded back to Foxen, who confirmed the count and made the call to put Greenwood at risk.

Sam Greenwood: 88 All in
Alex Foxen: KQ

It was a flip with Greenwood ahead with his pocket eights, and he was still ahead after the 310A flop, but Foxen picked up extra outs with a gutshot straight draw and flush draw. The A on the turn gave Foxen a few more outs, as a ten would counterfeit Greenwood's pocket pair. However, the 8 on the river gave Greenwood a full house, eights full of aces, to secure the double up.

Dvoress Wins with Aces

Nível 17 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Action went heads-up to a flop in a hand between Daniel Dvoress in the hijack and Sam Greenwood in the small blind.

The flop came Q108 and Greenwood check-called a bet of 80,000 from Dvoress.

The turn landed the Q and Greenwood check-called again, this time for 220,000.

The river brought the 2 and action went check-check. Dvoress tabled AA for two pair, aces and queens, besting the KJ of Greenwood, who had a busted straight draw.

Big Huni Bursts the Bubble

Nível 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Chris Hunichen
Chris Hunichen

Action folded to Artur Martirosian in the cutoff, and he raised to 115,000. Then Chris Hunichen on the button three-bet all in for his stack of 895,000. It folded back to Martirosian who snap-called to put Hunichen at risk.

Chris Hunichen: QQ All in
Artur Martirosian: AA

It was a cooler for Hunichen, who ran right into the aces of Martirosian. Once the board ran out 610K99 the aces were still best, giving the pot to Martirosian and making Hunichen the unfortunate bubble boy.
