Game Over for Li

Nível 5 : 200/400, 25 ante
Juicy Li
Juicy Li

Juicy Li never recovered from the massive pot against Dejan Boskovic and hovered around 10,000 in chips. She just opened and then four-bet shoved for said amount after an opponent three-bet to 2,000. Her all in was called by the three-bettor with {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades} and Li was in bad shape with {9-Clubs} {9-Hearts}.

After the {7-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {5-Spades} {8-Diamonds} turn, Li picked up an additional gutshot but the {7-Hearts} on the river sent her to the rail.

Kurita Gets a Nice Add On

Nível 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

In the very last hand before the break, Yu Kurita raised to 750 out of the cutoff and got called by the player on the button. The small blind made it 3,000 to go with about 12,000 behind and only Kurita called to see the {9-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {5-Spades} flop. Her opponent moved all in and Kurita called with {Q-Spades} {Q-} to face {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}.

The {2-Spades} on the turn now gave the short stack a gutshot and he was looking for either an ace or a three to stay alive. After the {A-Spades} on the river, he cheered and thought he had won before realizing that Kurita completed a flush.

Danzer Pays Off Assadourian

Nível 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Eric Assadourian was the initial raiser and George Danzer defended his small blind to see the {K-Spades} {2-Clubs} {6-Spades} flop. The German check-raised and then called a bet of 3,500 on the {4-Spades} turn. Assadourian fired 10,000 into a pot of 14,000 on the {K-Clubs} river when Danzer checked to him and the German tried to get some information via table talk.

He eventually made the call and Assadourian showed him the {Q-Spades} {7-Spades} for a flush.

The Competition is Suffering Third-Degree Burns

Nível 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

An under-the-gun player opened for 800 and recent WSOP APAC bracelet winner Alex Antonios called from early position. Shane Warne did the same from the cutoff, and chip leader Kahle Burns came along from the small blind to make it four-way action to the {j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop.

Burns checked, the under-the-gun player continued for 1,100, and both Antonios and Warne folded. Burns made the call and then check-called a bet of 3,600 on the {5-Hearts} turn. When the {3-Clubs} river put three clubs on board, Burns bet out 3,600 and his opponent called. Burns rolled over the {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a flush, and it was good as his opponent sent his cards to the muck.
