"Wow, That's Awesome!"

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

From under the gun, three-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Jeff Madsen opened with a raise to 1,300. A couple seats over was Daniel Murphy in middle position, and he flat-called before play folded to Michael Addamo in the big blind. Addamo reraised all in for 11,025.

While Madsen was receiving a count on Addamo's shove, Murphy motioned to a friend of his about the hand. The friend came scurrying over, and Murphy picked up his cards to show his mate. Madsen then folded, and Murphy asked what the count was.

"Eleven thousand, and twenty-five," said the dealer.

"Eleven thousand, and twenty-five?" responded Murphy. "So basically ten thousand more? OK, I call!"

Murphy tabled the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and let out a huge sigh of relief when he saw Addamo's {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. "Wow," he said.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades} to finish Murphy with a full house, tens full of sevens, and win him the pot.

"Wow!" Murphy exclaimed with a slam of his hand on the table in celebration. "That's awesome!"

Chia Knocks Out Two

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Slade Fisher moved all in from middle position for about 8,000 and Joachim Chia did so as well from two seats over. Kasra Bakhshaee tanked for a good minute in the big blind and eventually called as second biggest stack with the {J-Spades} {J-Hearts}. Chia was the chip leader of the three and tabled {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} whereas Fisher was in trouble with {A-Spades} {9-Diamonds}.

The {6-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {4-Hearts} flop and the {10-Diamonds} turn were both no threat to Bakhshaee but the {A-Hearts} popped up on the river to eliminate two players.

First Casualties

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

It took about 15 minutes for the first eliminations of Day 2 and we have lost Xue Wu, Henry Szmelcer and Andrew Scarf. Szmelcer was all in with {A-Spades} {9-Clubs} and got called by an opponent with {Q-Clubs} {10-Spades}. "I don't care," Smelczer said after being one of the shortest stacks at the start of the day anyways.

The board ran out {6-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} and that was it.

Danzer Losing Ground

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

George Danzer just walked through the tournament area and wasn't too happy about the start, having lost two hands that cost him 5,000 chips each. We didn't see the second one but in the first there was a three-bet pot to the {2-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {4-Spades} flop and Danzer bet 2,200 from what we can tell. Daniel Murphy raised and the German gave up.

Brandon Shack-Harris moved all in the very first hand and claimed the blinds and antes.
