Big Double for Therme

Nível 21 : 3,000/7,000, 7,000 ante

Simon Wiciak raised to 14,000 and was called by Jonathan Therme on the button as well as the blinds and they headed to the {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop. Wiciak and Alexis Saban check-called for 18,000 when Therme and the {5-Spades} fell on the turn on which Saban and Wiciak checked once more.

Therme now bet 70,000 and Saban called only for Wiciak to shove as the biggest stack. Therme called and Saban folded to create the following large showdown pot.

Jonathan Therme: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Simon Wiciak: {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The {8-Diamonds} river was a formality already as the nut flush had the check mark.

Sahnoune Eliminated by Mastrosimone

Nível 21 : 3,000/7,000, 7,000 ante

The cards were already on their backs between two players in the middle of the pack and it was Hedi Sahnoune at risk, as he faced Kevin Mastrosimone in the following showdown.

Hedi Sahnoune: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Kevin Mastrosimone: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

There were two spades on the {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop but neither the {5-Diamonds} turn nor the {4-Hearts} river provided any help. Mastrosimone's stack of 287,000 covered and that spelled the end before the money for Sahnoune.

Charpentier Jams Up His Stack

Nível 21 : 3,000/7,000, 7,000 ante

Loic Debregeas raised to 16,000 and Pierrick Letalleur then three-bet to 35,000 on the button for Franck Charpentier to call in the big blind, Debregeas folded.

On the {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop, Charpentier check-jammed into a bet worth 32,000 and Letalleur was pained to fold after more than two and a half minutes of consideration.

Mateos Out Before the Money

Nível 21 : 3,000/7,000, 7,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Adrian Mateos was all-in for 65,000 in the cutoff with the {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and he was called by Christopher Minano Leal in the small blind with the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

The suited undercards of the Spanish Winamax Pro failed to get there despite the {k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} turn providing a flush draw and live outs as the {2-Spades} river bricked off.

Early Eliminations on Day 2

Nível 21 : 3,000/7,000, 7,000 ante

Ravier Escapes From Elimination

Nível 21 : 3,000/7,000, 7,000 ante

Three ways to the {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop, Eric Ravier was all-in for 82,000 and he was called by Pablo Herrera Medina. Julien Doudet tanked and eventually folded to set up the following showdown.

Eric Ravier: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Pablo Herrera Medina: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

The {10-Spades} turn let Ravier sigh but he didn't bust as the {6-Diamonds} river brought a straight on the board for the chop.

Godin Doubles His Short Stack

Nível 21 : 3,000/7,000, 7,000 ante

Joseph Sapone faced a raise to 15,000 and a call to then jam and claim the chips without resistance.

Caleb Godin then got it in with the {j-Spades}{8-Hearts} against the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} of Alvaro Martin Recio. The {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} board kept the shortest stack in contention as the early carnage already provided a few seat open announcements by the dealers.
