Juan Carlos Martin Hernandez and Johan Creutz were eliminated on Day 1a and started well into Day 1b. On their table, Tristan Berrod was left with a shorter stack and then battled with Martin Hernandez in a pot worth 26,000.
They headed to the 
river on which Berrod jammed for the 22,100 behind. His opponent tanked for more than a minute, then tapped the table in defeat and gave up.

By mistake, Mario Milhoes opened to 2,100 from under the gun with a short stack behind and he was called by two opponents. The 
flop was checked to the Portuguese and he jammed for the 12,950 he had behind. Two folds later, Milhoes grinned, then turned around and joked in his native language to Nuno Andrade who is widely known as "Che" in his poker community to tell about the outcome.
Milhoes remains rather short in chips while Andrade is up for the day.
All players with Red Diamond status on Winamax are invited to the the live poker events of the operator and several of them already took part on Day 1a. In the Day 1b field, Alexane Latifou has been spotted with the same patch and she already chipped up early on.
In a three-bet pot to the 
turn, the action was checked to Sylvain Ruggieri and he bet 3,000. What followed was a check-raise to 9,000 by Nans Bruguiere and that all but ended the hand right there.
A few orbits later, Bruguiere bet the 
river for 8,000 out of the small blind. Abraham Benitez went into the tank and they called the clock on him. Thirty seconds ran down without any decision and the pot was awarded to Bruguiere.
In what appeared to have been a squeeze to 5,300 before the flop, Moundir Zoughari then check-raised the 
flop to 9,150 and was called by Jose Salazar Ferreras. The 
turn and 
river were checked by Zoughari and his opponent checked behind.
Zoughari tabled the 
for flopped trips and Salazar was somewhat stunned, flashed a king and sent the cards into the muck.

With more than 200 players in the mix, Alejandro Romero has also jumped into contention. He created a pot of around 19,000 when facing Ruben Abitbol as they headed to the 
turn. Romero opted to check and Abitbol then bet 8,500. Upon double-checking his cards, the Winamax Pro sent them into the muck to forfeit the pot.
With a bet and call of 9.500 already pulled in prior to the 
river, it was Sebastien Guidez who fired another bet of 11,500 out of the small blind. Romain Lefebvre was in the tank in the cutoff and eventually folded to get shown the 
by Guidez.
In table chat, Lefebvre mentioned he had let go of jack-eight in French, apparently.
