Bellanger Takes From Reveskis

Nível 2 : 125/250, 250 ante

With some 5,000 in the middle and the turn showing {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}, Andris Resevskis bet 1,700 and was called by Thomas Bellanger. They checked the {7-Spades} on the river and Resevskis sighed before tabling the {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Bellanger had missed the board as well but his {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} was good enough to win the pot.

French Streamers in Action

Nível 2 : 125/250, 250 ante

The Winamax Poker Open attracts plenty of recreational players but there are also several French online streamers in contention as well. This includes "VinzHS", "Pyro", and "CarbonRH". Another streamer that has already been spotted in the field was "ViensMonAgno" while Antoine Stacko was hovering around the tournament area but hasn't jumped in just yet.

Violleau Chips Up Early On

Nível 2 : 125/250, 250 ante

Towards the end of the first level, Mehdi Violleau three-bet to 2,000 out of the big blind and the initial raiser called in the small blind. The {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop brought a continuation bet for 1,600 by Violleau and he earned a call to then continued for another 6,000 on the {7-Diamonds} turn. Both checked the {j-Spades} river and the small blind turned over {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}, which Violleau had beat holding {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Milhoes Loses a Small Pot

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

In the first level of the day, Mario Milhoes check-called a bet worth 400 by Jose Maria Martin Rivero on the {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop and did so again for 1,025 on the {3-Clubs} turn. Both elected to check the {k-Spades} on the river and Milhoes tabled the {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a missed gutshot and flush draw. Martin Rivero had only {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} but that won the pot regardless.

First Notables in the Field

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Some tables have kicked off short handed while the action now is already picking up as the field picks up pace.

Among the early notables are Nuno Andrade, Mehdi Violleau and Javier, who is widely known as "Tsunamy" in the casinos in Spain.

Shuffle Up and Deal for Day 1a

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

The festivities in the Casino Gran Madrid have commenced as Day 1a has kicked off with some 160 players registered. There are no Team Winamax Pros in the mix yet and the list of notables seems rather short while many recreational players have taken their seats already.

If a table has at least three players seated, the action is underway and the big blind ante will be half if there are four or fewer contestants involved.
