Yesterday's figure of 402 surpassed everyone's expectations and it looks like there will be another huge flight in the Winamax SISMIX Main Event here today.
An entirely new field will take to the felt hoping to join the likes of Winamax Team Pro Leo Margets and overnight chip leader Yves Sanchez in Day 2.
Several big names including Winamax Team Pros Davidi Kitai, Mustapha Kanit and Romain Lewis are expected to jump into the field after deep runs in yesterday's High Roller.
And defending champion Adrian Mateos arrived this morning in time for Day 1b which gets underway at 12pm.

Adrian Mateos was on hand to start the day alongside Matthieu Duran to get the day underway.
Duran, speaking in French, Spanish and English, explained that the tournament is could potentially double last year's record figure of 1,252 here in Lloret de Mar, with 2,000 unique players predicted.
The tournament is now a freezeout for Days 1a, 1b and 1c with a single re-entry possible only into the Turbo Day 1d flight which is tomorrow evening.
Mateos then welcomed players to the event, before announcing 'Shuffle Up and Deal!'
Aladin Reskallah looks like he's the early bird among the Winamax Team Pros. Reskallah is a two-time Top Shark Academy winner, a Winamax promotion that gives players the chance of signing a €50,000 contract and join the stable of Team Pros.
Back in 2016/17, he won the contract and was part of the team for a year. Then, a few months ago, he did the unthinkable and won it again.
Now he's jumping into his first Winamax Main Event here at the Gran Casino Costa Brava and is hoping to get his year off to the best possible start.

With play barely halfway through the first level of the day, the number of entrants has jumped to 405, according to the tournament screens. This has already surpassed the 402 that played on Day 1a and reinforces Matthieu Duran's point at the start of play that we could be in with a chance of doubling last year's record of 1,252 Winamax SISMIX Main Event entrants.

Back in 2017, Marti Roca won the WSOPE Main Event for €1,115,207. The Spaniard, who was born in Barcelona and resided in Andorra at the time of his bracelet win, beat a star-studded final table featuring the likes of Niall Farrell and Maria Ho to win his first bracelet.
He has now joined the Winamax SISMIX Main Event during the second level of the day.
