We said it was looking highly likely that a new record for the biggest Winamax SISMIX Main Event would be set today, and we certainly weren't wrong.
As Winamax Team Pro Leo Margets was welcoming players, wishing them luck and announcing the shuffle up and deal, the tournament clock showed 427 players, meaning the figure of 1,252 from 2018 has been well and truly smashed!
And with late registration open for 16 levels on Day 1c, and the Turbo Re-entry Day 1d still to come later this evening, there is even talk around the tournament room that it could break the record for largest six-max tournament ever!
Two tournaments have been added to the SISMIX schedule today, giving players an extra opportunity to be part of a monster festival such as this.
14:00 - Hyper Turbo €60 (freezeout)
22:00 - Hyper Turbo €60 (freeeout)
These tournaments will be played on the ground floor of the casino, and will start full-ring and switch to six-max as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, according to organizers there are just thirty seats remaining with immediate seating in Day 1c of the Main Event, with players already joining the waiting list!
