King-High Call Gets Imsirovic Paid

Nível 8 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Ali Imsirovic opened with a raise to 10,000 from the cutoff and Sean Perry called in the small blind. Koray Aldemir called in the big blind.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and all three players checked. They all checked again on the {3-Clubs} turn.

On the {9-Spades} river, Perry led out, betting 18,000. Aldemir folded but Imsirovic thought for a bit before calling.

"You're good," Perry said showing {7-Spades}{5-Spades}. Imsirovic tabled his {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and that would earn him the pot with king-high.

"You were right Cary," Perry said to Cary Katz at the next table over. "I already punted half my stack away."

Bonomo Pushes Katz Off on Back-to-Back Hands

Nível 8 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Cary Katz opened to 10,000 from the cutoff, Justin Bonomo moved all in from the big blind and Katz folded. On the very next hand Katz opened to 8,000 on the hijack, Bonomo moved all in again from the small blind and Katz looked of frustration as he threw his cards into the muck, sending another pot to Bonomo.

Kempe Calls Down Schindler on the River

Nível 8 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Rainer Kempe opened to 8,000 from the button, Jake Schindler called in the big blind and the flop came down {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Spades}. Both players checked and an {8-Spades} fell on the turn.

Both players checked again, the {5-Diamonds} came on the river and Schindler fired out 16,000. Kempe called and Schindler tabled {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for nothing, Kempe showed {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks and took down the pot.

Tilston Doubles Through Petrangelo

Nível 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

It appeared that all the money went in on the turn between Keith Tilston and Nick Petrangelo. Tilston was the shorter of the two stacks by just a bit and was at risk. The board was {K-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Tilston was all in for just under 100,000.

Keith Tilston: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Nick Petrangelo: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

The turn gave Petrangelo a set of fives, but Tilston made a straight on the turn as well. The river was the {10-Clubs} so Tilston would double up to over 200,000 while Petrangelo was left with right around 20,000 chips.

Aldemir Sends Holst Out the Door

Nível 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The flop was showing {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and the pot had around 15,000 in it. Action checked to Kristina Holst, she bet 8,000 and Koray Aldemir check-raised to 22,000.

Holst moved all in for 109,500, Aldemir hesitated but called and the two turned over their hands. Holst showed {q-Spades}{8-Hearts} for top pair and Aldemir tabled {a-Spades}{8-Hearts} for the same pair but a higher kicker.

The {5-Hearts} on the turn and {j-Hearts} on the river changed nothing, as Aldemir scooped in the pot, eliminating Holst from the tournament.
