It's been quiet here in the High Roller the past ten minutes, and that's alright because all the excitement is over at the feature table where Trevor Dinneen, who has been being blinded out of this event, just defeated well-known poker pro Steve O'Dwyer to win the Irish Poker Championship.
That event drew 52 players pay the €2,300 + €200 buy-in and created a prize pool of €119,600. Of that Dinneen will take home €39,450 for his victory while O'Dwyer will have to settle for a €27,840 consolation prize.
