Richard Yong
Richard Yong

Rui Cao thre-bet to 10,000 with the {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} on the button over on the feature table and Richard Yong four-bet to 30,000 in the big blind with the {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}. The initial raiser folded and Cao called to see the {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop.

Yong bet 20,000 and Cao called. On the {6-Hearts} turn, Yong made it 30,000 to go and Cao called to see the {7-Spades} on the river. Yong moved all in and Cao called with his rivered straight to get shown the bad news by Yong with a big grin on the face.

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

On the heads up turn of {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, Rui Cao bet 10,000 into a pot of 24,800 over on the feature table with the {2-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Paul Phua called with the {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. The duo checked the {5-Spades} on the river and Phua claimed another pot to climb further up the leader board.

Kings for Koon

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Bryn Kenney made it 3,500 to go from under the gun and was called by Orpen Kisacikoglu in the small blind and Xuan Tan in the big blind. On the {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop all three players checked and Kisacikoglu also checked the {5-Clubs} turn. Tan made it 5,500 to go and was called by Tan only.

The {6-Hearts} river went check, check, and Kisacikoglu showed the {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for the busted nut flush draw. Tan had that beat with {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and won the pot.

On the other outer table, Wai Kin Yong opend to 3,500 and called a three-bet to 11,000 by Jason Koon. The {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and {3-Hearts} turn brought no betting action. Yong then bet the {10-Spades} river for 15,000 and Koon gave it some thought before calling. Yong rolled over {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} and Koon claimed the pot with the {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

Kenney Joins; Kisacikoglu Left Short

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Xuan Tan

The new level hasn't been as kind to Orpen Kisacikoglu and he was spotted with fewer than the starting stack, while Xuan Tan had apparently doubled. Dietrich Fast confirmed that both had clashed with Tan holding up holding pocket deuces against the {A-Spades}{K-Spades} of Kisacikoglu, who missed out on a gutshot straight draw and flush draw.

Soon after a new player sat down on that very table and it was no other than Bryn Kenney who had just arrived at the venue.

Haxton Still at the Top

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

On the heads-up flop of {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Koray Aldemir bet 5,500 from under the gun and was called by Isaac Haxton on the button. Aldemir bet again the {J-Diamonds} on the turn and Haxton came along before the duo checked through the {2-Clubs} on the river.

Like so many hands early into Day 1, this one also ended with the chips being pushed to Haxton, who tabled {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for top two pair as winning hand and approcahes two times the starting stack.

A Bluff by Kisacikoglu; The Delayed Reaction

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

On thethree-way turn of {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, Orpen Kisacikoglu bet 7,500 with the {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Mikita Badziakouski called with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. The {6-Hearts} fell on the river and Kisacikoglu made it 25,000 to go. Badziakouski folded and gave his opponent an angry stare.

Right when the hand played on the stream, both were already on the outer table and Badziakouski joked "Orpen, why did you do this to me?"

At that said time, Xuan Tan raised to 4,000 on the button and Dietrich Fast called in the small blind. Phil Ivey in the big blind three-bet to 20,000. Only Tan called and the duo ended up checking through the board of {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Ivey flashed the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and that won the pot.

In the new level, Rui Cao has also joined the mix to make it 20 entries in total.

The new feature table after the break will include defending champion Manig Loeser, Richard Yong, Stefan Schillhabel, Stephen Chidwick, Julian Thomas and Paul Phua.

In the meanwhile, the stream has caught up on a big pot between Dominik Nitsche and Xuan Tan from the last level. Nitsche had raised to 3,500 with the {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts} on the button and Tan three-bet to 12,000 in the big blind with {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. From then on a big pot emerged to the {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} river, as Nitsche raised the flop bet and fired 45,000 on he turn to pick up a call by Tan.

Ultimately, Nitsche bet 80,000 into a pot of around 170,000 with just 56,000 behind on the river and Tan used one time bank extension and folded. The other players at the table asked Nitsche to show a card and he flashed the queen.
