Brian Etheridge opened to 800 in the cutoff and was facing a three-bet of 3,000 from Evgeniy Tsyrenov in the small blind.
Etheridge called and saw the 7♦8♠9♣ flop, where both players checked. The dealer flipped over the 4♠ turn, with another round of checks leading to the 3♠ river.
Tsyrenov tapped the table one last time before Etheridge announced a check and revealed 6♣6♥ for a pair of sixes. Tsyrenov could only show A♠K♦ for ace-high as Etheridge raked in the pot.
