What's All This Talk About the All Time Money List?

Nível 21 : 20,000/40,000, 30,000 ante

Poker's all time money list is always as interesting discussion among poker players and the poker media. And when events such as the Super High Roller Bowl carry with it a $300,000 buy-in, the rankings are always going to have big changes.

Starting at the top, Daniel Negreanu has been first on the all time money list for some time now; and amazingly he has never had a single individual year where he has finished first overall. Regardless of any result at the Super High Roller Bowl final table, Negreanu will remain on top. However, he can pad the gap he has over Erik Seidel ($34,507,095), while most importantly, he can become the first player to eclipse the $40 million in total live earnings mark with a victory.

Justin Bonomo is having a career year. No doubt about it. So far Bonomo has earned just shy of $9 million in 2018 with five victories; one in the Super High Roller Bowl in Macau in March. Already guaranteed 4th place money of $1.6 million, Bonomo is assured of jumping over Antonio Esfandiari ($27,628,047), and can jump into 3rd overall with a 3rd or better result.

For Jason Koon, he is currently log-jammed with fellow Americans in the latter teens range, and a win in the Super High Roller Bowl will see him soar up to 12th place overall and jump over Phil Hellmuth ($22,303,355). Mikita Badziakouski might be seen as a relative newcomer, but he has results stretching back to 2010. However, Badziakouski's major results have come in the last few years where roughly $9 million of his $9.2 million in earnings have occurred. A Super High Roller Bowl win will see him climb to 33rd place on the all time money list, while a 4th place finish will see him climb to 58th place.
