Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis has been a bit quiet but just came with a roar near the end of Day 2.
Veldhuis opened for 280,000 from the cutoff before Thomas "tomnelz1" Nelz three-bet to 980,000 from the small blind. Veldhuis jammed for 3,229,124 and Nelz called.
Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis;
Thomas "tomnelz1" Nelz:
The cowboys held up on the board to double up Veldhuis.
Mario "livinmydream1" Mosboeck is living the dream after bagging a stack of 18,717,331 to lead the final 80 players in the SCOOP-92-M: $1,050 NLHE Main Event at PokerStars.
Mosboeck is after his first career SCOOP title and was near the top of the chip counts most of the day. He catapulted into the lead at the end of the day when his rockets held up against queen-jack suited to eliminate "Kempii-7".
The field is still full of many big names as can be evidenced by the top ten stacks heading into tomorrow's penultimate day held by Pablo "elmelogno4" Melogno, Feizal "RedPantRed" Satchu, Jack "Swaggersorus" Sinclair, Bruno "great dant" Volkmann, and Pablo "pabritz" Brito.

Action of the Day
Day 2 began with 459 new players entering or re-entering after Day 1 concluded to bring the total field up to 5,903 entries for a $5,903,000 prize pool to smash the $5,000,000 guarantee. First place on Wednesday is slated to take home a whopping $838,909 top-prize.
A total of 2,070 players were battling it out at the opening bell with 735 guaranteed to cash for at least a min-cash of $2,228.
The money was reached nearly three hours into the day when Ivan "ILS007" Stokes couldn't get his queens to hold against tens with the day ending more than four hours after that once "0$kar15" hit the rail in 81st place for $5,979.
Veldhuis Streams Into Day 3
It wasn't the most glorious event for most of the PokerStars Ambassadors with 12 Ambassadors firing 26 bullets.
But Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis had a superb day today and was not only the only PokerStars Ambassador to reach the money but also advanced to Day 3 in the middle of the pack with a stack of 6,332,688.
Veldhuis was streaming the tournament with hole cards shown on a delay on his Twitch channel and this is likely his plan of attack tomorrow as well.
Action Resume Tuesday at 6:05 p.m. BST (1:05 p.m. EDT)
The final 80 players will be back on Tuesday at 6:05 p.m. BST (1:05 p.m. EDT) for the conclusion of Level 36 with blinds at 80,000/160,000 along with a running ante of 20,000.
Blind levels will increase every 25 minutes like it was on Day 1 and not every 20 minutes like it was today. The day will conclude when there is only a final table of nine hopefuls remaining.
Be sure to check back tomorrow as PokerNews will be back reporting the biggest hands of Day 3 of the SCOOP-92-M: $1,050 NLHE Main Event.
