SCOOP 2020

Some of the biggest names of the online and live poker scene are expected to take a shot in the latest high stakes tournament of the extended 2020 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) schedule. One of the most exciting events of today's Super Sunday is the SCOOP-96-H: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event 2nd Chance], which comes with a guaranteed prize pool of $1.5 million.

The action will get underway at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and a total of 24 levels of 20 minutes each are scheduled for today. A big portion of the day is reserved for the 6h5 of late registration in which players can fire up to two re-entries if they should run out of chips entirely.

All participants receive 250,000 in chips, worth 250 big blinds in the first level of the day which features blinds of 500-1,000 with a running ante of 125. The prize pool information will be available after the end of the late registration period and Day 1 will conclude after nearly nine hours of play including breaks.

The PokerStars ambassadors Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis, Ben "Spraggy" Spragg and Fintan "easywithaces" Hand already confirmed via social media that they will take part in the tournament and other big names such as multiple 2020 SCOOP event winners Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer, Connor "blanconegro" Drinan, Patrick "pads1161" Leonard and Artur "mararthur1" Martirosyan are expected to take another shot at victory.
