Former SCOOP-H Main Event champion Talal "raidalot Shakerchi has been eliminated just a few spots shy of the money when he lost a flip with {a-Spades}{k-Spades} against the {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} of Daniel "DANMERRRRRRR" Merrilees. The {q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} board was no threat for jacks and suddenly there were just 57 players remaining.

Prior to that, Javier "que_te_crio" Fernandez, Brunno "botteonpoker" Botteon, and Laurynas "LaurisL91" Levinskas all bowed out as well.

Fernandez could not get there with {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} to beat the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} of Jans "[Removed:566]" [Removed:565] as the {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} board provided no help at all.

Botteon was at risk out of the big blind in a massive 4.6 million pot with {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} following a limp by Aleksejs "APonakov" Ponakovs and a raise to 170,000 by Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas in the cutoff. Ponakovs folded and Bujtas made the call.

"bluet0m89" raised from early position and was called by "temka99" in the blinds, they then check-called a bet by "bluet0m89" on the {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. The {8-Diamonds} turn was checked and "temka99" bet-jammed the {7-Hearts} river for more than 1.1 million effective.

"bluet0m89" called with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the ten-high straight but "temka99" had {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for the nuts.

Wiktor "limitless" Malinowski then scored a very fortunate double when he three-bet jammed the {q-Spades}{j-Spades} and was isolated by Joao "joaovbarb" Barbosa with the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. The board came {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Malinowski rivered two pair.

Just two hands later, Barbosa was all-in for the rest of it with {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Malinowski got his stack in with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. Andrey "Anjeyyy" Novak had both covered with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and the {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} river gave Barbosa trips while Malinowski was gone.

There was no happy end for Barbosa, however, as busted the very next hand with {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} against the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} of "Bozzano JNR" on a board of {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}.

Daniel "DANMERRRRRRR" Merrilees opened the action with a raise to 80,000 from early position and he was called by "mdf92" in the hijack. Mark "AceSpades11" Radoja three-bet to 360,000 in the cutoff and 2020 SCOOP-H Main Event champion "Alexgirs" jammed the big blind for 581,115. Merrilees folded, "mdf92" jammed for more than 1.4 million and Radoja also let go.

Rodrigo "Seijistar" Seiji was the first player to bust after the break and he was followed by British online poker grinder Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford. For Beresford it was a flip in a pot of more than 1.4 million out of the small blind against "EliteInk" in the cutoff.

The board came {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs} and the jack on the flop spelled the end for Telker.

"boerni21" departed when he got his short stack in with the {j-Spades}{9-Spades} in the cutoff and picked up a caller in Andrew "ClockWyze" Pantling, who held {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} on the button. On a board of {7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, the Hungarian was drawing dead on the turn.

The last player to then depart not far away from a scheduled 5-minute break was Jason "JASON.MAC100" McConnon. The online poker coach and heads-up specialist pushed with {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and Andrey "Anjeyyy" Novak called in the big blind with the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

The {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop was a tease but the {4-Spades} turn and {k-Spades} river both bricked off.
