After 16 levels of action on Day 1 in the $1,050 NLH World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Main Event on PokerStars, Daniel "judgedredd13" Charlton finished in pole position with a stack of 1,654,676, more than 270 big blinds and almost 500,000 more than that of second.

The field saw 3,178 entrants and 1,318 reentries meaning that the $5,000,000 guarantee is still to be met. Late registration is still open until the start of Day 2 at 5:35 p.m. GMT so there is still time to jump in the action and battle for that coverted WCOOP Main Event Crown.
