Welcome to Day 3 of $10,300 NLH World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Main Event on PokerStars. After two days of action that saw 760 entries create a prize pool of $7,600,000, the final 39 will return today at 5:30 p.m. GMT to play down to a final table where the winner will take home $1,293,825.
Portugal's Luis "luis_faria" Faria is the chip leader after a big hand late in Day 2 brought him well above the field and close to the 20 million mark. Faria is followed by "Ant1K1lller" in second and UK's "SerVlaMin" in third. Other Day 3 qualifiers include high stakes regular Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos, Chris "Moorman1" Moorman, and Austrian native Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker. Day 3 players are guaranteed a minimum payout of $37,288 with the next pay jump being at 31st place for $45,447.
