Dia 1 Concluído
The first five-figure buy-in of the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker 2020 (WCOOP) gathered a total field of 94 entries in WCOOP-10-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, High Roller], which narrowly missed out on covering the $1 million guarantee. After nearly seven and a half hours, the field was whittled down to the final 11 as the bubble burst and wrapped up the action for the day.
Scotsman Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich claimed a narrow lead over Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams as his 3,627,101 in chips edged past the Canadian High Roller regular's 3,613,033 by fewer than half a big blind. Third in chips is Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski with 3,079,729 and Filipe "Zagazaur" Oliveira follows close behind that with 2,979,331.
Oliveira needed to fire a second bullet to get as far and the same applied for Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker (2,390,432). Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen needed the third and final entry to run good and advanced with 2,228,256 whereas Ole "wizowizo" Schemion (1,668,132) was the only other player on a second bullet to make it through.
Furthermore, Pieter "XMorphineX" Aerts turned a very late entry into 1,389,332 and Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian dominated the early action to eventually end the day with 1,366,824. The two shortest stacks are "fishbones11" (805,774) and "despedespi33" (352,056, who have locked up a min cash of $25,238.

The start of the day was a tedious affair as the second table just opened aa few minutes into the first level. While the field grew from there, it still remained a slow affair. No more than four tables ran at the same time for quite a while as the High Rollers busted and new entries emerged.
Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian dominated the early action with very aggressive play in three-bet pots and quickly took over the top spot. He had to surrender the lead to Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski when the latter hero-called a shove with ace-queen high and was good. Another early front runner was Thomas "MarToMchat" Boivin, who was then eliminated by Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro.
During the last break in the registration period, only 63 entries were showing and 15 minutes remained for players to join the action. And they did, in frantic fashion, as nearly three dozen sign ups appeared out of nowhere and boosted the field to 94 entries. In the same sudden fashion, several late entrants vanished shortly after, among them Konstantin "krakukra" Maslak who ran with kings into the aces of Patrick "pads1161" Leonard after fewer than five minutes.
It didn't take long to reduce the field to the final four tables and the pace of eliminations remained incredibly high. Leonard was among those to bust during that period when his flopped set of tens ended up third-best. Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich hit a miracle four-card flush to triple up and never looked back from there, also sending Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro to the rail when jacks flopped a set to leave ace-king drawing dead on the turn.
Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams started his journey to a big stack soon after when he doubled through Michael "merla888" Gathy with a flopped set and turned full house. Both clashed again after that and Adams had the best of it with ace-ten versus jacks thanks to an ace on the turn.
In the blink of an eye, the bubble burst as the field went from 20 hopefuls to the final 11 in under half an hour. Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder and Mike "SirWatts" Watts bowed out next, followed by Joao "Naza114" Vieira. Recent WSOP bracelet winner Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph then lost almost all of his chips, as "hello_totti" succumbed to a short stack, and Rudolph bubbled on the other table during the same ongoing hand.
The final day recommences at 1.05 p.m. EST with resuming blinds at 20,000/40,000 and a running ante of 5,000, all levels for the remainder of the tournament will last 30 minutes each.
The action of the final day will be streamed on the PokerStars Twitch channel with commentary and cards-up coverage on a delay of 20 minutes. All PokerNews live updates will be published according to the delay until a champion has been crowned.

A hectic last 30 minutes have cut down the field all the way to the final 11 players and they have virtually bagged up for the night. The full counts and a recap of today's action are to follow.
It was a hectic last few minutes and the turned into chaos when Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph's stack went on a wild roller coaster. He first doubled through Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams when held versus

.
Pieter "XMorphineX" Aerts then paid off the top pair of Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker to drop well below a million and then clashed with Rudolph who open-shoved and was called by Aerts in the small blind.
Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph:
Pieter "XMorphineX" Aerts:
The board left Rudolph with just 10,612, which he quadrupled one hand later.

The board delivered the ace and "hello_totti" was out in 13th place.
Fast forward to the other table, Rudolph had called all-in from the big blind when Muehloecker raised to 84,0000 and Adams called on the button. Both active players checked down the board. Only Muehloecker's cards were shown as his
were the best hand to let the bubble burst.

Once the action reached big stack Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich in the cutoff, he made it 80,000 to go and Joao "Naza114" Vieira got the last 619,287 in out of the small blind. A quick call by Geilich followed and they were off to the races.
Joao "Naza114" Vieira:
Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich:
Geilich was ahead with his pair and that remained the case for the flop and
turn. While Vieira paired on the
river, that same card gave Geilich a winning flush.

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams started the action with a button raise to 70,000 and Michael "merla888" Gathy three-bet to 245,000 in the big blind with 706,008 behind. Adams moved all in and Gathy quickly called.
