Muratov Gets Chopped Up

Nível 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

After a raise to 700, Alexander Lukyanov called and so did Aleksandr Zhilinskii before short stack Anvar Muratov shoved for 1,025 in the big blind. All three players called and checked down the board of {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts} entirely. Muratov showed {J-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and the initial raiser flashed {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. Lukyanov was reluctant to show his cards and turned over {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, which ended up winning half the pot as Zhilinskii's {7-Spades}{4-Spades} took the other half.

Also on the rail: Former big stack Artyom Babakhanyan.

Wheeler in the Mix

Nível 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Ashkan Fattahi raised to 900 and was called by one player before Aleksei Danilov three-bet to 2,000. Jason Wheeler called in the small blind and Fattahi, as well as the cold-caller, came along. On the {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop, the action checked to Danilov and his bet of 3,000 won the pot.

Wheeler joined late and is well above the average, and the same also applies for Danilov after claiming this pot without showdown.

Roy Korthouwer Spikes the Turn To Claim Scalp

Nível 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

The flop was {4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs} and there seemed to be a little confusion. What was clear was that Roy Korthouwer had checked and his opponent had bet. Korthouwer was looking to raise but with the bet sizing being announced in Russian it briefly looked like it was going to be a call. In the end though it was clicked back and Korthouwer then called a shove.

Korthouwer had over cards with {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and his opponent showed {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for a pair and a got-shot.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and the river the {q-Clubs} and Korthouwer felted his opponent.

Ivan Neiaskin Wins Battle of the Qualifiers

Nível 4 : 150/300, 50 ante
Jamie Stephens
Jamie Stephens

On a {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop it checked to Vahe Martirosyan who bet 3,800. Two players called, including Jamie Stephens before Ivan Neiaskin raised to 13,700. Martirosyan folded, as did the second player and Jamie Stephens moved all in. Neiaskin was the player at risk and he called for his last 30,100.

Stephens: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Neiaskin: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

"Nice hand, nice hand," said Stephens as the turn came the {8-Spades}.

"Ooft," said Stephens as the river {j-Hearts} gave him trips, but also gave Neiaskin a full house and the double up.

Game Over for Shalamov

Nível 5 : 200/400, 50 ante
Mikhail Shalamov
Mikhail Shalamov

Down to around 8,000, Mikhail Shalamov was all in before the flop with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Alexander Zubov looked him up with the superior stack and the better hand in {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. The board of {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} provided no help and that was it for the PokerStars Team online pro on home soil.
