Medvedev Folds the River

Nível 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the flop of {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Vitaliy Beter bet 2,000 and early chip leader Vladimir Medvedev called on the button before doing so again for 2,000 on the {8-Diamonds} turn. Beter only had one chip left, a blue T-5,000, and he put it to use by moving all in after the {10-Spades} river. Medvedev let go and lost a portion of his big stack.

Lykov Let's Go

Nível 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Maxim Lykov raised to 1,000 and found a sole caller in Konstantin Pogodin from three seats over. On the {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, Lykov continued for 1,100 and was called before the {A-Clubs} on the turn went check, check. After the {J-Spades} river, Lykov checked again and folded to a bet worth 2,200 by Podogin.

He was shown the {J-Clubs} and tapped the table, dropping to few than the starting stack. Pogodin however is well above that and has double as many chips.

Artsiom Zhadinsky Doubles Through Vadim Kim

Nível 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Alex Watson raised to 1,500 from middle position and Vadim Kim three-bet to 4,200. It folded to Artsiom Zhadinsky in the small blind who four-bet all in for 25,950.

Watson took his time with his decision: "I'll be annoyed if you don't call," he said to his neighbour before folding. Kim called.

Kim: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Zhadinsky: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Zhadinsky doubled through Kim, leaving his opponent with only 8,000 chips left.

River Queen Saves Calzada

Nível 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

David Laka Calzada opened to 900 on the button and Denis Chiginev three-bet to 2,300 out of the small blind. Calzada thought briefly before sliding his stack forward. Chiginev called rather quickly.

Calzada: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Chiginev: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Calzada was at risk and in trouble as the dealer tapped the table and rolled out the board. The first four cards gave Calazada some hopes for a chop as the {7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs} left an open-ended straight draw on the table.

The river was even better for Calazada as the {q-Clubs} hit, giving him the double up.

Ilia Mikhailov Bested By Seven-Four Suited

Nível 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Ilia Mikhailov was the player in early position with Igor Dimitrijevic the player on the button.

They had reached the river on a board reading {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

Mikhailov checked it over to Dimitrijevic who bet 3,000 and was met by an all-in from Mikhailov for just over 12,000. He just had a few more chips than Dimitrijevic and took a while to make is decision before calling.

“Set?” another player quizzed Mikhailov who shook his head and tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

That couldn’t beat the {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} of Dimitrijevic though with the river delivering the winning two pair.

Mikhailov was left with barely any chips left.

Signaevsky Builds Stack

Nível 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the three-way turn showing {9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, Alexandr Prysev and Timur Bubnov checked out of the blinds and Igor Signaevsky bet 4,000 into a pot of 7,500. Only Prysev called and checked the {2-Diamonds} river once again. Signaevsky checked behind and was shown [Qc8cx] for a busted gutshot by Prysev, raking in the pot with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a set of nines.

Aleksanyan and Yurasov Clash

Nível 6 : 250/500, 75 ante
Dmitry Yurasov
Dmitry Yurasov

Gevorg Aleksanyan raised to 1,100 on the button and Dmitry Yurasov in the small blind three-bet to 3,700. Aleksanyan four-bet to 10,500 and Yurasov called, then checked the {Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop. Aleksanyan continued for 5,000 and was called.

The {8-Diamonds} turn went check, check, and Aleksanyan took another stab at the pot when Yurasov checked the {K-Diamonds} river. He bet 7,000 and Yurasov eventually called to see his opponent turn over {A-Spades}{3-Spades} for a bluff. Yurasov had that beat with {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and claimed the pot, their table broke right after the hand was over.
