Zeitoun Doubles Through Delgado

Nível 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Vicente Delgado raised to 9,000 from the hijack and Jean-Jacques Zeitoun moved all in for his last 46,000 from the button. Action folded back to Delgado, and the Spaniaed eventually called.

Jean-Jacques Zeitoun: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Vicente Delgado: {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}

On the {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, Zeitoun shook his head, but led out a "yesss" on the {A-Spades} turn. After the {9-Diamonds} river, he celebrated some more and then said "nice call, nice call," to Delgado.

Luth Doubles Through Teltscher

Mark Teltscher (right) on Day 2
Mark Teltscher (right) on Day 2

Peyman Luth opened to 8,000 on the button. Mark Teltscher three-bet to 28,000 from the small blind and Luth called.

The flop was {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Teltscher took his time to consider his options. After verifying how much his opponent had left - 125,500 - he simply shoved all in. Luth took over two minutes before calling it off for his tournament life.

Mark Teltscher: {J-Spades}{2-Spades}
Peyman Luth: {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Luth needed to dodge Teltscher's flush draw and overcard and did so on the {5-Diamonds} turn and {A-Clubs} river, scoring him a huge double-up in the first level of the day.

Julian Feriolo: {A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

The board came {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and that was it for the Frenchman. Zervos was already waiting at the payout desk, and said "that was a short day. I shoved for 10 big blinds with queen-ten and was called by ace-eight suited."

Coulier Doubles Hoivold

Nível 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Action folded to small blind Arne Coulier and he pushed all in. Big blind Andreas Hoivold called with {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} for 37,500 total. Coulier had {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

"That's not a good card," Hoivold said as the {10-Diamonds} appeared in the window, followed by the {7-Spades} and {6-Diamonds}.

"That's not good at all. Horrible!" Hoivold said with a smile.

The {A-Spades} hit the turn, which prompted a smile and a "That's better!" comment from Hoivold.

Gresel Doubles in the First Hand

Nível 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Two-time WPT National Winner Paul Gresel started off the day with just 5 big blinds. In the first hand, he committed his stack of 19,500 to the pot and Christopher Frank looked him up.

Paul Gresel: {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Christopher Frank: {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop paired Frank up and give him a big lead in the hand.

"See you in Amsterdam," laughed Gresel, referring to the WPT National in Amsterdam next week as part of the MonteDam Swing.

The {Q-Hearts} on the turn left Gresel drawing to the remaining aces and he found one on the {A-Clubs} river.

"Well, not yet" Gresel smiled as he collected the pot.

Bendik Eliminates Luneau

Nível 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Alexandre Luneau (small blind) got his last 40,000 or so in before the flop against reigning champion Jan Bendik (cutoff). Luneau held {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} but was in trouble as Bendik showed {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}.

The {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Spades} flop just about sealed it, and Luneau wanted to get up already. He changed his mind when the {10-Clubs} hit the turn but eventually did head for the exit as the meaningless {K-Clubs} completed the board.
