Timothy Adams suggested that the loser of a big hand without showdown gets to pick one card and most players on the table agreed to it, just one Frenchman wasn't speaking English good enough to understand the suggestion. Jean-Pascal Savard translated for him and the mini game for additional fun may kick off shortly.

The table line up itself is quite impressive as well. Besides Adams and Savard, it includes Mustapha Kanit, Fahredin Mustafov, Stefan Schillhabel and Kristen Bicknell.

Clement Richez was involved in a four-bet pot against Julian Herold in a button versus big blind situation. Both players checked the flop. Herold check-called 10,000 on the turn, but folded to Richez' 19,600 river shove when the appeared.

Shortly afer, Richez was in the hand against left-hand neighbor Ben Heath. On a flop, Richez checked, Heath bet 3,000, Richez check-raised to 8,700 and Heath called. On the turn, Richez check-folded to a shove from Heath.

Feenstra Flips Out

A rather bad day at the office has ended at the start of level four for Dutchman Rens Feenstra, though he may re-enter until the start of Day 2 still in order to take home a portion of the prize pool. The last hand on the first bullet saw Feenstra four-bet shove out of the big blind for 24,800 and he was looked up by Michal Ozimek to create the following showdown.

Kolev Doubles Through Thorel

A raising war between Boris Kolev from under the gun and Jean-Noel Thorel in the big blind saw both players invest 13,000 each to see a flop of and Thorel instantly moved all in for more than two times the pot. Kolev called as quickly and both players turned over their cards.

While Kenny Hallaert took to Twitter earlier and was hoping for a decent result in this €10,300 High Roller, the start to the tournament was rather disappointing for the Belgian thus far as he has been reduced to half the starting stack in level three.

In a recent hand, Hallaert was ion the big blind and faced the opposition of Romain Lewis in early position and Andrei Konopelko in the small blind. The turn showed and Hallaert bet 2,800, which both opponents called. On the river, all three players checked through and Konopelko flipped over for top pair. Hallaert mucked, but Lewis had the to claim the pot.

Defending Champion Will Kassouf Enters

Last year, none other than Britain's motormouth Will Kassouf emerged victorious in the €10,300 High Roller. It was a controversial ending, with Kassouf getting the official win, subsequent trophy and €532,500 despite a severe chip disadvantage, while runner-up Patrick Serda won €719,000 for his "second-place" finish.

"“I was more interested in the title and the trophy, from a business point of view,” Kassouf told PokerNews in an interview last week. “It made sense for endorsements and sponsorship deals, et cetera with the year I had to take a trophy to wrap up the year.” The interview gives a great peek into the mind of the outspoken Brit, who's a firm believer poker needs characters in the game.

Like everyone else, Kassouf will start with 50,000 in chips and eyes will be on him if he can make another deep run.
