Duarte's Big Bluff Fails, Busts

Nível 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

JC Alvarado opened the cutoff with a raise to 11,000 and Luiz Duarte called from the big blind.

Duarte checked on {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Alvarado bet 9,000. Duarte check-raised to 23,000 and Alvarado called in position.

Both players checked the {7-Diamonds} on the turn and the {J-Spades} completed the board. Duarte shoved for 115,500 and Alvarado tanked for a bit before he tossed in a single chip to call.

Another Double for Samuel Gagnon

Nível 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Up at the featured table, Samuel Gagnon moved all in for 49,000 from early position and Denis Timofeev called from the button.

Timofeev: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Gagnon: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{a-Spades} flop paired Timofeev, but it also gave Gagnon a flush draw. He didn't have to wait long to hit it as the dealer burned and turned the {Q-Diamonds}, which left Timofeev drawing dead. The meaningless {Q-Hearts} was run out on the river and Gagnon shipped the double.

Felix Bleiker was on the button and Vincent Allevato was in the hijack. Both players got all of their chips in the middle before the flop in a classic cooler situation.

Allevato held {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} while Bleiker tabled {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

The flop came {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, putting Allevato even further ahead than he already was.

The turn sealed the deal with the {6-Hearts}, prompting Allevato to jump out of seat to celebrate with his rail.

Bleiker was drawing dead to the {4-Hearts} on the river and was eliminated.
