Out of the small blind, Stefan Schillhabel moved all in and Bryn Kenney in the big blind asked for a count. The all in was for 89,0000 and Kenney called after brief consideration.
Stefan Schillhabel:
Bryn Kenney:
"Good call," Schillhabel said with a dry smile and saw the board run out to improve on the turn.
Orpen Kisacikoglu and Benjamin Pollak were less fortunate and busted at almost the same time on different tables. Only 47 players remain out of a field of 112 entries.
Stephen Chidwick raised to 12,000 from the hijack and Nick Petrangelo three-bet to 36,000 on the button, which Chidwick called. On the flop, Chidwick checked and subsequently called a bet of 20,000 ny Petrangelo before checking again the on the turn. Petrangelo moved all in and that won the pot right there without showdown.
The registration closed and among those to buy back in before that were Salman Behbehani, Igor Kurganov and and Ben Tollerene. Dominik Nitsche and Mortan Holm Schwartson busted for the second time today while Quan Zhou sits on half a million.
The players have been sent into the second 20-minute break, in which the T-500 chips will be raced off. The registration will close when the cards get back in the air for level nine.
Sam Greenwood opened to 10,000 from the cutoff and Bryn Kenney three-bet to 27,000 on the button. Christoph Vogelsang jokingly announced a four-bet from the small blind and called all in for his last 4,000, while Greenwood called Kenney's reraise.
On the flop, Greenwood checked and folded to Kenney's bet of 19,000.
Christoph Vogelsang:
Bryn Kenney:
The German was in need of a runner runner miracle, but failed to get there with the turn and river.
Benjamin Pollak opened under the gun for 10,000 and Manig Loeser called from the cutoff. From the button, Ben Tollerene shoved for what appeared to be just over 100,000. The blinds folded and so did Pollak. Loeser, though, called.
Ben Tollerene:
Manig Loeser:
The board ran out and Tollerene hit the rail 5 minutes before the break.
