Nick Maimone bet 80,000 in the cutoff against two opponent on an {8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop. Michael Vela called from the button and the big blind folded. Maimone fired another barrel for 127,000 on the {a-Spades} turn. Vela again called. The river was a {7-Spades} and Maimone checked. Vela bet 100,000 and Maimone thought awhile then sighed and called. Vela showed {q-Spades}{8-Spades} for a flush.

"You're so lucky," Maimone said with a smile and a shake of the head.

"You're saying the eight wasn't good?" Vela said.

"The eight was 100 percent not good."

Christian Harder Doubles Through Jason Mercier

Rasmus Glaesel Wins a Massive Pot

Action folded around to Alan Schein in the cutoff and he decided to limp in. Adrian Mateos raised to 65,000 on the button. Rasmus Glaesel was in the small blind and put in a three-bet to 135,000. Scein quickly called and Mateos folded.

The flop came {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Glaesel led out for 140,000 and Schein wasted no time and threw in some chips, indicating a call.

The turn was the {j-Clubs}. Glaesel thought for a moment moved all in for 449,000. Schein snap-called, basically beating Glaesel into the pot.

Glaesel stood up from his chair and had a shocked look on his face after the snap call. Schein held two over cards, a flush draw and a straight draw for a chance to take down the pot.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and Glaesel, along with his rail, erupted with excitement. Schein was left with less than ten big blinds going into the last level of the day.

Vela Takes From Maimone

Nick Maimone opened to 46,000 from the hijack and his neighbor Michael Vela in the cutoff three-bet to 93,000. Action folded back to Maimone and he called.

Maimone check-called 150,000 on {4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades} before they both checked the {4-Hearts} on the turn. The {J-Clubs} completed the board and Maimone checked again. Vela bet 300,000 and Maimone called by tossing in a single chip. He soon needed to add some more as Vela showed {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Maimone mucked and said he had pocket nines.

Riess Pays Off Schein's Monster

Alan Schein called in the small blind when Ryan Riess made it 52,000 in the cutoff. Both players quickly checked a {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop. Schein came out betting with 60,000 on the {3-Diamonds} turn. Riess called. Schein fired again for 150,000 on the {q-Spades} river, and Riess again called after thinking briefly.

Schein showed down {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for quads and raked in the pot.

Michael Vela Straightens Out

On a board reading {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, with about 350,000 in the middle already, Michael Vela led out for 175,000 from the small blind.

Nick Maimone was on the button and called.

The river was the {9-Clubs}. Vela wasted no time and led out for 275,000 this time. Maimone went into the tank, eventually apologizing to the table for taking time to make the decision. Eventually, Maimone called.

Vela tabled {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a straight while Maimone tabled {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for trip sevens, sending the pot Vela's way.
