Bartley Downling vs. Maurice Hawkins

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Bartley Downling raised to 1,800 from early position and Maurice Hawkins, who was next to act, three-bet him to 3,500. Action folded back to Downling and he called to see a {q-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop, which both players checked.

Downling then led out for 3,500 on the {2-Clubs} turn, Hawkins called, and the {6-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Downling bet 5,800 and Hawkins snap-called with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for two pair. Unfortunately for him, it was no good as Downling had flopped a flush with the {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

Downling chipped up to 40,000 after the hand while Hawkins fell to 60,000.

Foxen Gets There

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Antonio Pace bet 2,600 from middle position against two opponents on a {j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop. Alex Foxen made it 6,400 to go in the next seat, and the big blind folded. Pace put his last few chips in; the wager looked to be about 18,000 total. Foxen quickly called with {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} but saw he needed only diamonds as his overcards didn't help against {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}. The turn was a {9-Diamonds} though, and Foxen locked it up. An {a-Diamonds} hit the river.

Flush Over Flush Cripples Trace O'Connor

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

With 25,000 or so in the pot and a board reading {8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, action exploded between Trace O'Connor and Hendrik Latz and resulted in the latter getting his stack of 32,400 in the middle.

O'Connor: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Latz: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Both players had turned a flush, but O'Connor's was second best. The meaningless {4-Spades} was run out on the river, and O'Connor sent all but 4,400 of his chips over toe Latz, who doubled to 90,000.

Liu Calls Off a Chunk

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Xuan Liu was facing a bet of 13,000 out of Marius Cazacu in the big blind, with the board reading {3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Spades}. The pot was around 25,000 before that bet, and Cazacu ended up calling the clock. Liu called about halfway through minute, and Cazacu showed {q-Spades}{10-Spades} for a backdoor flush.

Ramdin Gets a Fold from Paul

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Aaron Paul checked from the big blind and Victor Ramdin bet 2,100 from middle position on a {j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop. A player on the button called, as did Paul. On the {k-Diamonds} turn, it was just Paul calling 4,200, and Paul checked a final time when the {9-Diamonds} completed a four-flush. Ramdin bet 6,500, and Paul relented.

Bernard Lee Heads to Dinner on a High

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

In the last hand before the dinner break, the player in the big blind had already left, which left dead money up for grabs.

Bernard Lee made a play for it with a raise to 1,275 from the hijack, but the player in the small blind opted to defend. When the flop fell {Q-}{7-}{3-}, the small blind check-called a bet of 1,550, and then action went check-check on a {K-} turn.

A {5-} on the river saw the small blind bet 3,200, and Lee snap-called with {k-}{10-} for top pair. It was good as his opponent held {q-}{10-}.
